Background & Education
Ms. Olesten studied for several years in London, England, and
attended the University of Goettingen, Germany. Ms. Olesten graduated
from the University of California at San Diego with high honors
in 1974, and obtained her J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles
in 1981. Ms. Olesten specializes in intellectual property, including
prosecuting trademark and copyright applications before the United
States Patent and Trademark Office and the Library of Congress,
as well as the litigation of trademark, copyright, trade secret
and unfair competition matters in federal and state courts. She
also handles complex business litigation and advises clients regarding
their business procedures. Ms. Olesten is a founding member of
the firm as well as the managing attorney of Conkle, Kremer & Engel.
Ms. Olesten was born in Sweden and is fluent in German and Swedish.
