Background & Education
Mr. Keegan graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2002, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Science and Management with an emphasis in Biotechnology. Mr. Keegan’s senior thesis focused on issues involved in global distribution of pharmaceuticals. After college, Mr. Keegan worked as a Senior Loss Control Adjuster for a national rental car chain, where he negotiated settlements with adverse parties and counsel. Mr. Keegan then attended Loyola Law School. While still attending law school, Mr. Keegan passed the patent bar and was admitted as a Patent Agent. Mr. Keegan also served as a Justice on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board, and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Suzanne Segal, Magistrate of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Having been a summer law clerk at Conkle, Kremer & Engel during law school, Mr. Keegan joined Conkle, Kremer & Engel upon receiving his J.D. in 2008. Mr. Keegan is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before federal and state courts in California. He is also a registered patent attorney and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
