PARALEGAL
A certified paralegal with at least five years experience in complex business litigation. Requires substantial experience in litigation support databases (such as Summation or Concordance), e-discovery, e-docs, document imaging and spreadsheets. Trial support, substantial project leadership and paralegal team experience are strongly preferred. Interest and experience in trial presentation software, graphic arts or photography would be a plus. Salary and benefits are very competitive.
Summer Law Clerk Program
Over more than two decades, Conkle, Kremer & Engel has engaged capable law students for summer clerkships. CK&E’s policy is to involve summer law clerks in work assignments for client matters, with opportunities for broad exposure to many aspects of business litigation practice. Summer clerks generally work with multiple CK&E lawyers, and CK&E strives to give summer clerks opportunities to attend and participate in substantive business litigation events such as client conferences, witness interviews, depositions and hearings. In addition to research and writing for active matters, CK&E’s program is intended to provide law students who are considering business litigation careers with meaningful training, constructive feedback, and a realistic introduction to CK&E’s practice. As shown in our Attorneys listing, CK&E often extends employment offers to law clerks who demonstrate that they would be valuable additions to the firm.
